Charles Edwards entered the real estate industry in 2005 full of vigour, passion and experience he never knew he needed. As a young man, he walked through the doors of one of South Africa’s major banks in 1995 not knowing that as ledges clerk, his life was going to mould into something great. He impressed his managers in such a meaningful way that he received the opportunity to train his colleagues, supervisors and managers and with that, he found another passion, TRAINING!!!!. Within the 5 years at the bank, with ease and grace he moved up the ranks, which included facilitating, home loan consulting, dealing in forex exchange and eventually offshore investments and imports and exports. Fast-forward a few years and after gaining corporate experience through well-known organisations, Charles landed an opportunity at one of the biggest international shipping companies – Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Charles was offered a position in the finance department with imports and exports. There he dealt with Portnet and other major stakeholders.
