About SAPP

The South African Property Practitioners NPC (SAPP) is a voluntary association and industry representative body established to represent the interests of Black principal property practitioners in South Africa.

SAPP serves as a transformation vehicle aimed at advancing the objectives of Chapter 4 of the Property Practitioners Act, 22 of 2019. The organisation works as a change catalyst within the property sector by creating a platform where Black principal property practitioners and other participants across the property value chain can collaborate, engage and develop practical solutions to challenges affecting small and medium-sized property businesses.

A key focus of SAPP is helping Black-owned property businesses grow, scale and develop into sustainable national and international brands. Through collective engagement and collaboration with like-minded stakeholders, SAPP seeks to create mutually beneficial relationships, service exchanges and opportunities across the property industry.

SAPP promotes an action-oriented approach to property sector transformation by bringing together experienced professionals and stakeholders who can contribute towards meaningful and measurable industry development. Its members include Master Practitioners in Real Estate (MPREs) who have successfully completed the Professional Designation Examination (PDE) Level 5 and meet the prescribed education and training requirements applicable to property practitioners in South Africa.

Membership Information

SAPP represents Black principal property practitioners and brings together experienced property professionals, including Master Practitioners in Real Estate (MPREs) who have completed the Professional Designation Examination (PDE) Level 5 and meet the prescribed Regulation 33 education and training requirements under the Property Practitioners Act framework.
