About SAYBC
Founded in 2012, the South African Youth Business Chamber (SAYBC) exists to organise, represent, and empower young entrepreneurs across South Africa. What began as a founding vision has grown into a national movement of over 785,000 members across all nine provinces, working toward a target of one million youth entrepreneurs by 2030.
SAYBC describes itself as more than a chamber — a movement dedicated to the economic liberation of South Africa's youth. Its mission is to mobilise, support, and represent young entrepreneurs through enterprise development, policy advocacy, and strategic partnerships that help businesses start, grow, and sustain themselves.
Its vision is a dynamic and inclusive economy driven by empowered youth entrepreneurs, transforming South Africa's demographic advantage into a powerful national economic asset — guided by the core values of Entrepreneurship, Integrity, Collaboration, Leadership, and Impact.
Membership Information
SAYBC membership is open across four categories: Associate, Full Member, Corporate, and Strategic Partner/Sponsor, each tailored to the applicant's role and level of involvement.
Members join a network of serious youth entrepreneurs ready to scale, build assets, and trade across borders, gaining a policy and advocacy voice, market access networks, and access to mentorship and funding-readiness support.
